Welcome! My name is Mille and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Working in the mental health and wellness field has never just been about choosing a career. It has been about answering a calling. My work and life experiences have cultivated a deep inherent belief that healing is possible when people are met with compassion, dignity, alternatives, and hope. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and founder of Healing Byrd Therapy LLC, I have dedicated my work to serving individuals, couples, families and communities impacted by trauma, relational wounds, grief, racial and cultural stressors, exploitation, and major life transitions. My approach is rooted in evidenced-based practices while remaining deeply person-centered, culturally responsive, and solution-focused. Therapy, for me, is not about "fixing" but about accompaniment that provides pathways for others to reconnect to their purpose and wholeness that already lives within them. My goal is always the same- to help others move from surviving to thriving so they can thrive through it all.

My faith quietly anchors both my personal and work life. I honor and welcome people from all backgrounds, beliefs and non-beliefs. My personal relationship with God continuously reminds me that every person holds their story and deserves to be witnessed with grace and respect. That foundation shapes how I show up with humility, curiosity and a true desire to take part in their healing journey. Healing is a journey we will be on as long a we are breathing because healing is not a destination, healing is a lifelong invitation to grow, be refined, restored, and to become fully who God created us to be.
